At the moment, there isn't a way to delay the start of a policy (although it's something we're working on).

We made a checklist to help make sure you shouldn't have an issue on the day:

  • Can you get a quote on the vehicle registration?

  • Have you declared all incidents?ย 

All incidents involving you or named drivers on your policy must be declared, regardless of:

  • whose fault it was

  • whether any claim was made

  • whether you suffered a personal injury as the driver or passengerย 

  • whether any incidents involved named drivers on your policy

If you have done these and plan on using your own personal UK card for payment, you shouldn't have any issues!
