In the past, you could only pay for a Cuvva policy with a card that was in your own name.
The rule was in place to prevent misuse (and fraud), but we realised that it was making life harder for our customers.
So we changed the rule - and you can now have a friend or relative pay for your short term insurance.
Make sure you have their permission
If you’re using someone else’s card, it’s important to make sure that you have their permission. And if it was just a one-off, remember to remove their card from your Cuvva account afterwards.
You can do this in the profile section of the app.
Happy driving! 🚗
