What is excess?
An excess is the amount you agree to pay towards a claim before your insurer covers the rest.
So as an example, let's say the damage costs £3,000 and your excess is £500. You would receive £2,500, and pay the remaining £500.

Can I change my excess?
No. We only offer a compulsory excess on short-term policies.
That means you can’t increase or reduce it.
