We’ll send you an email with your car insurance policy documents as soon as you buy a policy.
You don’t need to print your documents - having them on your phone is fine! But you might want to make sure your phone is charged while you’re driving, just in case you need to show that you’re insured for any reason.
You can check your documents before you pay
If you want to see what is and isn’t covered, or if you have any other questions about your policy, you can check your documents in the app before you buy your cover.
Just select “policy and terms” on the payment screen.
To access your policy documents from within the app:
Tap on the vehicle reg you want the documents for on the homepage of the app
Underneath 'Previous Policies' tap on the date you wish to get the documents for
Scroll down to the 'Documents' section and tap on 'Policy documents'
Here you will find the Policy details (otherwise known as insurance certificate) and the full policy document.
You’ll get a receipt too
You’ll get a “policy certificate” as part of your policy documents. This also counts as your receipt and proof of purchase.
We don’t charge VAT, so we can’t give VAT receipts.
