Cuvva's temporary car insurance policies can last hours, days or weeks - starting from just 1 hour. It's super handy, because you only need to buy as much cover as you need.

When you get a quote in the app, you’ll first see the price for an hour’s cover. If you want a longer policy, just adjust the end time. You'll see the price change to reflect your new policy length.

The maximum policy length a driver can buy depends on various factors, like the vehicle type and details, how long the driver has held their licence, the driver's age, your location, and the time of day.

Our requirements (and those of our underwriters) can sometimes change. So the best way to find out if we can cover you, and how long for, is by getting a quote.

If you need a little more time, you can extend your policy via the app in just a few taps. The only thing to keep in mind is that you need to be 5 minutes into a policy before you can extend it.

Just so you know, the maximum policy length for a provisional licence policy is 3 hours in any 24 hour period. You can only extend your learner policy up to this maximum 3-hour length.
